JBT Transport acquires Heritage Transportation Group

JBT Transport is thrilled to announce that we have acquired Heritage Transportation Group, including Heritage Truck Lines, Heritage Logistics, Heritage Warehouse and Distribution, Drumbo Transport, and Heritage Southern Logistics in Greer, South Carolina.

Founded in 1994 by Carol and Steven Lowe, Heritage has been building a reputation for safety, customer service, and innovation for nearly 30 years. We are proud to continue that legacy.

The purchase includes buildings and land at both 425 Melair Drive, Ayr, Ontario and 105 Guthrie Street, Ayr, Ontario. These two adjacent properties sit on 14.5 total acres and house 39,000 square feet of office, cross dock and shop space.

This acquisition bolsters JBT's capabilities as a multi-faceted carrier. With a broader freight market range and greater service diversity, our fleet will better serve new and existing customers - and our greater community.

We will be sharing more exciting news in the weeks to come. These will include our plans to build a modern driver suite - with "his and her" bathrooms, full showers, and a large and comfortable lounge area for everyone to enjoy. We will also enhance our web presence and branding, while simplifying the customer and client journey.

Our commitment to you has never wavered: integrity, efficiency, and teamwork are our core principles driving this acquisition.

We are proud to say we are now the largest trucking operation - and largest employer - in the township of North Dumfries. We love our community and thank everyone for their continued support.

Together, JBT and Heritage will continue to provide customers with exceptional FTL, LTL, warehousing and third-party logistics services from offices in Ayr, Ontario and Greer, South Carolina.

Welcome to our family.
